Drumroy
Another of the isolated and long abandoned crofts on Dava Moor. Drumroy is a typical single storey "butt and ben' with two downstairs rooms and up the steep central stairs the garret - directly under the corrugated zinc roof now picturesquely rusted. Round the house the croft's hard-won fields are gradually reverting to rushes and Heather.
It was to Drumroy that sheep. were gathered and taken annually for shearing and dipping.
