friends

Well today its my birthday and it turned out to be a really nice one  even though I was in work today.  I had many lovely cards and Facebook messages and a few gifts,  two of them are, the main picture  a lovely owl figure from a dear friend for my garden.  I will be putting clear matt varnish on it before it goes into the garden to preserve it longer from the good old British weather.  Another gift was a photography mug.  It sums up photography and life in a light hearted way.  I had one of my sisters around for tea followed by a video call together.  My twin from NZ also got in touch after almost 18months. So a very good day.
