Gate

Finally after many months of having a rotten gate hanging by its hinges G went off and bought a new one. The old one took a bit of elbow grease to get off, I can tell you!
The new gate may be put on at some point. It’s not as easy as it looks!
We visited long time family friends , one of which was 80 today. He was great friends with my parents and was reminiscing about if they had been spared they would all be here at his wee celebration. I guess you start to think about your own mortality when you reach 80.
