The fullness of summer

About four years ago we spread wood chips down over this area. We wanted to have another garden area with strawberry beds and a nice perennial area at the end. We slowly transplanted things in and it's all come together so nicely. I try to do a little weeding in there but it's really just a sort of magical chaos. Our teahouse is in the back ground.
The extra is of the chicks enjoying their new home. We are going to have to go out tonight and physically stick them up in the roosting area so they can be shut in for the night. Hopefully they will learn the routine quickly!
