Evergreen Sunset

I caught this picture tonight on my walk home from my office in the church.

My stories these days seem to be either about heat, work, tiredness, etc. etc. You get the idea.

But there is something stirring inside and I think it looks like hope. We’re still in the phase where everything looks discouraging and helpless, but deep inside there is this growing sense of hope in the future.

I need to get some rest on our holiday. Maybe hope will grow inside even more for the future.

Anyway moments like these tonight just remind me that there is hope, even if it’s partly obstructed by a few trees.
