…. and chill

A total contrast from yesterday. I took my paddle board Caroline brought her kayak and we paddled south on Ullswater for breakfast. We chatted in the sunshine watching the boats sail by, people fishing and just enjoying being out. The water was a bit “lumpy” on the paddle back and their was a side wind making it challenging but fun.

More floor drama. Both Will and I are not keen on the yellow colour that has transpired from his heard work. Yet another trip to the DIY shop for a slightly darker colour. This time we completely emptied his room. He sanded the floor again and rubbed white spirit in. What a smell.
