Via Ferrata

The only day which has had outdoor activities booked well in advance was also the day that the wind blew and the rain lashed down, we even got thunder at one punt, meaning the kids were pulled off the course for 30 minutes. Apparently it’s a bad idea to be fastened to a long metal wire in the top of a hill during a thunder and lightning storm. A good morning was had by all though, followed by an excellent Cornish Barista lunch before heading home to warm up.

Tea was enjoyed over at the holiday house before the football. We stayed due the first half then came home gut the second half, extra time and the dreaded penalties. Those poor boys, they looked so young and devastated.
