Begonia

Sitting in our BBQ area today having a cup of coffee I noticed how pretty the Begonias were looking and in particular the white. As it was so much more a better idea to take a photo than to carry on with 'my jobs' I spent a little while doing just that. 

I had read an article last night about the underestimated Canon f/1.8 50mm lens - The 'Nifty Fifty'. I grabbed it and included a 31mm extension tube so that I was approaching 1:1 magnification. Set the aperture to f/1.8 so the depth of field was almost non existent.
