Worden Hall

We were briefly in the area so stopped for a packed lunch and short stroll round.
We had no idea how extensive and well-maintained the grounds of Worden Park and gardens are, and will certainly return in the near future for a good long explore!
Image shows the remaining clock tower of the hall which burnt down in 1941 and was finally flattened apart from outbuildings in 1960, with part of the formal gardens in front.
