Just Passing

Our cleaning lady is back today for the first time in eighteen months or more - our choice, she would have come back to us sooner but we've been super cautious about covid. 

And now I find she's planning to move back to Portugal and I have no idea what we'll do without her. We've been getting by, doing a bit at a time and never having a truly clean house, all the time hanging on knowing that eventually Susana would come and help us sort it out. We've had other cleaners but she is in a class of her own and I feel at a loss.

Bloody Brexit.

Anyway, while she was working I sauntered into town and got my watch battery replaced, and tried out a mattress in Dreams. Our current 20+ year old mattress has finally succumbed to old age and we desperately need something better. 

On the way back, I passed this building, and thought it made an interesting blip.
