Steep, narrow valley

That is apparently a meaning of combe – similar, I understand, to the Welsh cwm.  You can't actually see the combe referred to in Corscombe, our village, as it's around the side of the hill on the right, about where we live.

I was up on the hill seeing to our caravan, checking tyres and battery level, and when I emerged this view was just too lovely to pass by without a blip.
