ghosts from the past

WFH. Chasing various issues with questionable success. One issue involves a whole bunch of extra work - the other needs working around resource limitations. Bah!

Lunchtime walk into town. Spotted some work at the Starlight Express Chinese Supermarket. The sign for Fool Clothing is visible. I remember when that shop was there in the 90ies. Nice and colourful and very alternative. They have moved to Morningside. There were quite a number of shops like that - there was Hilary's Bazaar on George IV Bridge. A shame many of these colourful und unique shops are gone. Instead we get coffee shops, charity shops and tourist stuff. Ah well, it was nice to be reminded of the past.
