The train bridge

We went out today to the Nantahala national forest. This creek flowed down the mountain into the river The Smoky Mountain Railroad has a tour train that travels along the track that goes along the base of the mountain. The track is on this bridge.

We then went to Lake Nantahala to try fishing again. Even though we saw fish jump we had no luck.

We had a couple of rain showers but nothing that bothered our outdoor fun!

When we got back to the house there was copperhead snake at the grate where the rain gutter dumps water when it rains. Spooked all of us but Jerry shot it with a pistol.


A good day except for the snake.
