Forecast was for sleet..

When I woke up this morning, I was surprised to see a few snowflakes starting to fall. By the time I got downstairs they were falling thick and fast! Great big, fat flakes! Within an hour, this was the scene! Absolutely amazing!
Unfortunately within three hours it had gone slushy and turned to sleet and now, this afternoon, it's all but gone!
If I hadn't witnessed it I wouldn't have believed it! ..if I hadn't photographed it, I would've thought I was dreaming!!
Freakish weather! :-)
