Confused!

Has spring sprung? There are hints of spring but yet the weather is miserable. This is from my favourite tree and the leaves just starting to sprout. I couldn't decide between this one or this one!

I was determined to not get a EWFB today so when I nipped my mother in law to the station I decided on a couple of blips I could do. Pulled over in the rain, set all the camera up, just about to take the shot and I'd forgotten to put the battery back in it! So had to resort to taking a pic round near the house.
