In Evening Light

A beautiful evening, a comfortable temperature, with filtered light coming through the trees. As the sun goes down, so its light moves slowly around, picking out different plants as it goes.

It's great to experiment with light and shade creating different shapes, but you have to be quick, no second chance. Every minute is a new composition.

The mass of pink and yellow yarrow is quite a sight, but being mainly white-ish it's hard to get right in bright light. I want to see the colours, but not overexpose the highlights. I think I managed ok with this shot.
