It Only Gets Better From Here

I know I'm going to seriously regret posting this picture, but it is what it is.  I'm feeling pretty good after this morning's surgery, and my right eye is completely healed now so I'm well on my way to being able to see with both eyes!

My surgery time was scheduled for 6:00 AM and once again, my dear friend and fellow Blipper Mary Jo, kindly picked me up at 5:45 AM and got me to the surgery center.  She had brought a pillow and blanket with her so she could sleep in her car while I was otherwise occupied. She's a wonderful friend for many reasons besides driving me to appointments, but this was above and beyond.  We'll probably both get a good night's sleep tonight!
