St. Patrick's Day

We went into Nottingham today for some shopping. Of course, today is St Patrick's Day so being in the middle of ENGLAND, the city's great and good decided to put on some kind of celebrations. This included a band (playing those well known Irish tunes The Theme from Rocky and The Hustle), another band, and a band after that. What we also had though was some Irish dancing, as seen here. Adding some colour to the celebrations were people with bits of weed on their lapels, kids with Irish rosettes and an octagenarian woman wearing a Guinnes 'St. Pat's Hat'. She was deep in conversation with a nun.
