Storm Watching

The wind started to blow and the dark clouds came in, Felix sat watching as the storm was gathering. 

We have been wanting rain, but last night it all came in at once. First the wind, next the big drops of rain followed by lightening and then the deluge. Later, hail came down and it sounded like it might break the skylights.

One of the lightening strikes was so close we though a bomb had gone off. Pretty dramatic stuff.

I am grateful the dust has been washed off and the red of the rocks is popping. All the vegetation seems to be standing a bit taller.
