Good day's work

Back to the allotment today, I dug another bed (at the bottom of the picture). In parts the subsoil was really close to the surface so this will need a fair bit of compost adding. It was really satisfying work! (albeit a bit wet).

I also sowed a few seeds to start off indoors for planting out later (brussels and quinoa. I'm quite looking forward to seeing if I can get anything from the quinoa).

I'm now aching ALL over, but I think that's from planting out a couple of things in the front garden yesterday rather than the digging today. Creak!
