Hot hot hot

A very hot sunny day. Food bank this morning then supermarket shopping ahead of all the family coming to stay. I sat and read in the garden then did a bit of light weeding in the shade.
My husband and I went for an evening walk on Dalmeny Estate which was very pleasant although I didn't think we would end up doing 5 miles! We decided to stop for fish suppers on the way home which were delicious. 
Our daughter and son in law arrived about 11.30pm after attending a wedding in Glasgow.
