Duck!

The boys done good: CarbBoy for winning a fat duck in the lotto, and Mr B for cooking it to perfection. It may have tied up the oven for the whole day, but it was worth it.

That aside, a largely lazy day. Some gardening was stopped when the rain got too heavy for us all, so I satisfied myself instead with just hacking out as many stumps and roots as I could find, before retiring indoors to look glumly out of the window like a housebound labrador.

Now, all full of duck, roast potatoes and chocolate mousse, it must be time to collapse in a corner.
