Cobnuts! (Sounds rude, doesn't it?)
These remind me of when we lived in Kent when I was quite young. Dad was fond of cobnuts and would send us out to forage for them.
I didn't realise back then that these are actually Hazelnuts! They have several names, apparently not dependent on dialect but on the shape of the nut/variety of the tree. I honestly thought that Filberts were almonds but apparently they are also Hazelnuts. You live, you learn. I need to do further learning and ascertain whether these are Cobs or other.
The shower progresses, though not as easily as we might have hoped. The glass is in and the sealing strip currently being painstakingly put into place. I should like to knock off for the day after that is done but the Plumber in Chief wants to sprint to the finish.
The panel with the actual shower works needs adding and plumbing in, then there is a top bar to fit that hopefully braces the whole structure. Finally we need to fit the plinth but the promised screws could not be found anywhere in the packing at all.
Then there is the leak testing to face. Actually that's best done before the plinth!
