LD 478. Dreamers are needed too..

I am surprised , looking back, how rarely I have mentioned books in my blips.  

I am glad to do so today though to recommend this - “Dreamers” by Volker Weidermann, translated from the German by  Ruth Martin.

I declare an interest as a writer and ( largely retired) politician but would commend what is a fascinating , moving but comparatively unknown piece of political history .
