Remembering Germany

And the other countries so badly affected by the flooding.  It is very saddening to hear of so many lives lost and so much damage caused.

That's my excuse for getting out the Weissbier, anyway: great beer is one of the many good things to come from Germany, Belgium and Holland.  I hope that it doesn't seem too trite to use my Friday evening beer as my expression of solidarity  with all those so badly affected.
