Cornflower Friday

Sophie was up at 6 am this morning and 5 minutes later she had got dressed in her school uniform and was expecting us to get up! She was very excited about making a monster at school today. We managed to persuade her to get undressed and go back to bed for half an hour at least.

After we’d dropped her off it was a pretty ordinary Friday: a breakfast roll in the newly reopened Sainsbury’s cafe, a bit of shopping for a family BBQ tomorrow, a fair bit of watching the Open Golf on TV and the small victory of working out how to sync my phone with the car’s audio system.
