Basildon Park, Berkshire

We visited another NT house and gardens on our way south. Only the ground floor rooms were open to the public but they were stunning.

Some of the rooms were used when filming for the London flat scenes in Downton. The house is also closed this weekend for the same reason and another Downton film this Christmas.
