A long hot and tiring day. Could have done with another dip in a handy lake today it was so hot. This little tarn far below us looked very inviting. It’s one I’d never heard of just one of those pretty little puddles in between the big well known ones. This one is quite near Haweswater. There appeared to be some people swimming in there. Looked lovely. Even the little streams which usually gush down the fellsides have temporarily mostly dried up. Though I did find one to splash my hands and face in.
