Isolation Day 2: So Near, Yet So Far
This is the view of the pub from the garden of the place we are isolating. Only 5 minutes walk. We can hear children playing, families laughing, cars (& horses) passing by to enjoy its fayre. It might as well be on the moon for us! Oh well. First test result came back negative as well! So next will be the 5 day early release.
Extra pic is of Olive, our kind host’s cat. We heard a « meouw » while we were reading in the garden. Our hosts are away, so we investigated. Olive had brought us a live present. It looked terrified. It ran, she stopped it, it ran again. Eventually there was this stand-off. I approached and Olive backed off, having displayed her impressive mousing skills. I was able to release the captive into bushes. It seemed happy. So was Mrs SoL. At least someone escaped the confines of the garden!
Extra great news was that the 5th Grand-child has made his appearance today. All round splendid day.
