Old Beams... eventually

So tonight's dinner was a bit of a nightmare!

We decided to go to the carvery to our free icecream and there was a lovely hand-written note to say the machine was broken and so there would be no free icecream so I decided we were going elsewhere.

We tried the Harvester over the road and they were completely full; tables would be over an hour!

We opted for the pub by the lake and they were fully booked too!

We ended up losing one member of the party and decided on the Old Beams. We should have gone there in the first place because I must say the service was fab (we got free rolls & butter), they had also been fully booked but rearranged a few things to fit us in and the food was delicious. I had the best sticky toffee pudding I think I've ever had!
