this little piggy stayed home
There was very little surprise when the confirmatory PCR for the small one came back positive. So far, he seems as asymptomatic as the large one. So far, I'm still negative and therefore technically free from isolation tomorrow, which seems slightly illogical (as I'm a close contact of the fresh positive case) but a call to the Test and Protect operatives confirmed the household-isolation infographic. Hopefully I can make it to a walk-in second vaccination tomorrow in case keeping all the windows and doors open, masking, wiping and forcing them both outside for their meals wears out before my scheduled appointment on Thursday.
Interestingly, Amos also being positive makes his overnight vomit and prededing warm head on the 13th very interesting. Edgar was sick overnight a week before, which was initially put down to having drunk from a water pistol which had been filled from a bucket at the holiday childcare thing. Having not eaten anything which the rest of us hadn't also had, I suspected he'd either been chewing his clothes or picking his feet and nose or something, but with roughly the same gap between puke and first positive test I'll add it to the symptom tracker in case it helps others detect (or suspiciously isolate) a little earlier...
