Fallen Acorn
THURSDAY
We headed down to Nottingham to see Harriet and George. It's Harriet's last few days of holiday before she starts work as a foundation doctor next week.
Nottingham are involved in one of the electric scooter trials so we went in search and found three machines in close proximity to the Serenity Garden. Unfortunately the scooter ride did not go as planned as Prue became a cropper when her scooter failed to negotiate a zebra crossing road hump.
We cut our scooter tour short and headed back to Harriet's for an ice pack and an anchovy pasta dinner.
The Fallen Acorn sculpture and Serenity Garden is maintained by the Forever Stars charity which supports parents of stillborn babies and neonatal baby loss in the East Midlands.
