A Wainwright Dog

We met up with friends Debs and John Gravett and did a 3 hour walk up Binsey and around. We had great view over Bassenthwaite and the back of Skiddaw. 

We met a chap at the summit of Binsey who had 2 beautiful border collies. One of which was almost blind and was doing her last Wainwright before retirement. This was the other dog. Each had their photo taken at the top of each Wainwright.

It was a good end to our few days here and great to catch up with John and Debs.

I had a bit of a panic as I had a text from the cattery asking us to collect our cat. I'd not booked her in for an extra night. Luckily it wasn't a problem. We did have visions of a mad dash down the M6 to collect her.
