Seeking Shade

Popped out on the bike for a short bike ride this morning. These horses were already seeking the shade although they also wanted to know if I was the bearer of sugar lumps. 

A quick snap was all I had time for before spending the afternoon and evening  getting to know more of Matthew’s fiancées Mary’s family before the wedding which hopefully will be next April. It was also the first time in a while that I have had all three of my young men together. A lovely family time.

What a scorcher! Hope I can get off to sleep - I am never good in the heat.
