Trees reflected in the moving water

Finding the  direct footpath from the country tracks near our campsite evaded us. We back tracked and used the bridal way after some hesitation due to the height of the ferns and a fear of ticks spreading Lyme disease and the steepness of the invisible track down.  Incredibish used his stick whilst I bashed through with my daysack down the never ending slope.  The views were beautiful, with butterflies flying past the many wild flowers and birds hiding in the ferns and bushes.
Continuing from Watersmeet along the river enjoying all its glory, we walked to Lynmouth for fish and chips and of course, a taxi.
