The Science of Food
Had a terrific day at a North Lincolnshire Tourism event today. As well as exhibiting I was thrilled to have been asked to do a couple of chocolate demos, between slots from Colin McGurran, the amazing head chef from Winteringham Fields (and also a winner from Great British Menu).
The scientific knowledge, provenance, respect and love Colin has for his work is astounding, not to mention a healthy smattering of wit within his dishes. He's also a very nice man. :-)
Met some great people and my demos were full and went very well too.
Very tired now but very happy.
