Introducing Trev......

Yay!!  Finally - Trev the Tui has 'found' the sugar water that I've been putting out over winter.  Whilst the silvereyes are obviously quicker on the uptake and have been enjoying it for weeks, Trev has circled around, called to let me know he's nearby and even sat in the trees but he's never ventured down to the feeder..........until today.  And once he found it and enjoyed the sweet offering he kept on returning.  I saw him on the table at least 4 times and there were numerous times I heard him in the vicinity calling.  I wonder if he's calling his mates?  Maybe there'll be a tui party soon?

Looking forward to seeing how things progress in my local bird cafe.....
