2021 Saturday — Tristan

We drove to Temecula this morning to meet our granddaughter Desiree halfway between her house and ours so we could get Tristan our oldest great-grandson. He will be leaving with us in the morning to go to Cayucos for 3 weeks. We are so very delighted.

So all three of us have our bags packed and are planning to get outta here early tomorrow morning. Getting thru Los Angeles without getting stuck in traffic is always a priority. We’re hoping most of Los Angeles will be asleep as we journey thru its highways.

It was last Sunday in Temecula as we ate breakfast with Des and her family that she mentioned Tristan should go back to Cayucos with us. So we sent texts back and forth all week to make sure Des was serious and knew that we were serious and that we would be gone for 3-weeks.

This evening we were at Bob’s Big Boy restaurant with Tristan for dinner when I captured this photo. He had a chocolate malt with his dinner and told us that he’d never had one before. He thought it was delicious and better than any chocolate shake he had ever had.
