Madera Canyon Day Seven

This was Kit, the young woman who was staying in the casita next to mine. We did a lot of talking and sharing. A really nice person. She was taking a few days down here (she lives in the Phoenix area) to hike and photograph some birds before moving to Colorado to join her boyfriend. She was very excited to have gotten shots of the Elegant Trogan two days in a row.

The day I twisted my ankle, I couldn’t really stand and cook. Realizing that she brought more than enough food, she offered me a large bowl of fruit, cheese, crackers and a bag of dried cranberries covered with dark chocolate. I thought that was so nice of her.
