Trying trying to work on an annotated table of contents that I’ll need to submit in October for my confirmation of registration. It requires me to roughly guess what the whole of my thesis will look like and break down what each chapter will contain and why — my supervisors want a surprising level of detail, more than I’d bargained on. It’s tough but will be extremely helpful. It’s also just such a relief that my brain feels capable of working on this kind of ‘deep-thought’ stuff again, even if it takes me far longer and requires far more effort than it feels like it used to. Positive steps.
