The Spirit of Scotland

I think this is the first time I have seen this barge-hotel actually moving. and I've never seen it with passengers. At that moment I got into conversation with a lanky youth who was out with a dog. He told me the 'big one' was further up. I said it's been moored there all summer. Must be covid, he said. You need to be rich to sail on these things, I added. He told me he'd just been paid, but didn't think he would spend it on  a cruise. He was only here in May and September, anyway. I liked the lad, who seemed pleased to have someone to talk to. He left an impression.
