Sunset

Today we had baguette for brunch before heading out to climb the Arc de Triomphe. Rained a bit but that cleared and then there was a rainbow which was pretty nice. None of my photos of it came out that well though which is a shame.

Next went in search of macaroons and to Le Marais where I tried some Polish food (spinach wrapped in some kind of pastry), Steph had something which was a cross between a hash brown and an onion bhaji (but without the indian spices).

We then headed to 'Le dernier Bar avant le fin de monde' where we had red beer and played some games. Crossed the bridge at sunset (took this) and went into Notre Dame and got a crepe. Before rushing to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle from up close. (It happens on the hour). Wonderfully tacky.
