Bees Galore

As much as l love the heat and sun my hayfever does not and after keeping it under control for much of the season, it’s been a bit of a nuisance the last few days.
Best remedy is to stay indoors with the blinds lowered so that’s what l’ve done for much of the day.
It’s cooler to the front of my house too until early evening when it gets full sun.

Watched West Side Story on TV, one of my favourites but then watched the BBC documentary of how the stage musical came about. Think that it might be the third time l’ve seen that but it’s so informative and well made.

So l waited until 6pm to go out into the garden and was happy to see it full of bees and a few butterflies.
Decided to water the garden as the sun had gone behind the roof, it certainly enjoyed it. My water butt is now pretty low…my own butt is looking big .Must attend to that.
Took this sunflower as it caught the last of the sunlight.
Making dinner now,  will eat it while talking to Tim and Adele on FaceTime.
