Lone tree

We went to Musselburgh this afternoon and took a walk round Levenhall Links. This is a view from one of the bird hides on the reserve beside the reclaimed ash lagoons. Everything was beautifully peaceful with lots of waders, ducks and other birds to be seen. Lots of butterflies were flitting around in the grassland, but they never seem to settle long enough for me to get a good look!
