Cheerful Soul

After an early dog walk I went to the allotment to try to get some work done there before it got too hot. This deep red sunflower greeted me. So pleased it has come into flower as most of my sunflowers have been eaten by slugs or snapped in the high winds we’ve had in the past few months.

After an hour and a half of pulling up bramble and bindweed I beat a retreat to home. The afternoon has passed by with some massage studying, a short rest and another dog walk. Now I feel as though I could happily fall asleep and it’s only ten past eight in the evening!
