The Boat

I post this a week late. Luckily the photo jpgs my memory.
L and S got their first jags at Caol Community Centre today. We were down earlier than necessary to catch the fish shop which closes at 2pm.
We had time to walk along to the boat before the boys went in for their injections, their respective appointments only 10 minutes apart.

I had hoped for hake but it was all sold out. The odd thing was I found it hard to depart from the recipe I had in mind with the fish I did buy. 
The consensus (from the rest of the family) being that the individual elements were tasty but didn't belong all on the same plate. I liked it but I would say that.
Small breaded fish (so like Scampi)  with a slightly hot red onion and pepper marmalade and garlicy sautied baby potatoes. 

I will do it again when I can get hake.
