Easter Limekilns, Dava
A sprawling farm, with a long line of outbuildings adjoining the farmhouse, Easter Limekilns was worked in conjuction with Wester Limekilns until around the early 60s by the Fraser family. Around the farm buildings are many rusting oil drums, presumably the oil was used to fuel a generator which brought the dubious benefit of television to the farm - an aerial still adorns one chimney stack.
The extra shows a stag's horn moss growing amongst the beel heather - seen on the walk over the Moor to the farm.
