Relaxed on the beach

After a hectic day of garden work, baking, and a small running repair on the camper van we decided to hit the beach.  We picked Rose up on the way in.
Cars were parked for several hundred meters up the road from the carpark so the beach must have been really buzzing during the day, but arriving in the early evening it was fairly calm, and we could park just by the entrance to the beach.
We went swimming but even 100 meters out the water was only chest deep so we never got into deep water. It was much cooler than the lake is, perhaps 19°C so we didn't stay in long. We did sit around chatting on the beach for an hour or so.
By then hunger was starting to set in so we headed home to Rose and ordered from the delightful Thai take-away.
