My ship's come in...

In Izmir, where eveything is a little more laid back - even the landscape...

Some things look so easy, like this ship coming in to dock, but we don't see all the work that goes into getting it there, instead just capturing this beautiful moment it offers. A few colleagues and I were in Izmir giving a workshop to teachers on speaking, vocabulary, and reading strategies and it was so inspiring; wonderful to meet so many teachers who are eager to work on their craft "behind the scenes," while their kids just enjoy the final product. A working weekend, yes, but well worth it!
