Ultra Close Hoverfly

Went out to get some evening bug shots but not much about and the damsels played "You cant catch me" and I couldn't!
Got this gorgeous Hoverfly and in the extras I caught a Darwin Wasp injecting its ovipositor into this poor Cinnabar moth caterpillar. I flicked it off once but she was determined! Once the injection complete the larvae then eats the host from the inside out  till it dies! Charming insects but hey ho its nature. 
It was a battle and a half but the caterpillar did lose. I saw a hornet which I didn't want to tangle with and got chased by a wasp then horseflies kept landing on me and it was so hot I felt I was in the tropics!
